The Aspen Group relocated its headquarters from upstate New York to Chicago's vibrant Fulton Market neighborhood in 2018. They aimed to create an environment that would attract top talent and generate employment opportunities. Their new space clocks in at 200,000 square feet, making it one of the largest corporate headquarters in the neighborhood.
Working off of The Aspen Group's vision and Perkins and Will's expert designs, Corporate Concepts discovered creative interior furniture solutions to fulfill the client's goal of a headquarters that would foster collaboration, offer state-of-the-art training facilities, and encourage professional development for The Aspen Group's employees.
Our team was also inspired by the building's architecture and design elements, including a grand staircase, an outdoor terrace, breathtaking views of Chicago's skyline from floor-to-ceiling windows, and even light sculptures that mimic dental floss for their dental business.
Our team outfitted The Aspen Group's collaboration areas with casual, inviting furniture to provide employees with a place to relax or get down to business. The café features furniture solutions from various manufacturer partners to create comfortable seating areas at several horizons keeping the space flexible and useful for more than just dining. Lastly, Knoll K-Bench workstations with wood gallery panels offer privacy while taking advantage of an open floor plan with plenty of access to natural light, thanks to the office's sweeping windows.
The Aspen Group's Fulton Market headquarters has contributed significantly to the city's efforts to reinvent the historic area and was even voted one of Crain's Chicago Business "Coolest Offices in 2022.
