How Corporate Concepts Succeeds with National Projects

Since Corporate Concepts' founding in 1983, we've been building strong, long-term relationships with our clients in the Chicagoland area. But as we've grown, we've increased our reach and created strategic partnerships across the United States.

Our team of experienced experts successfully manages national projects and installations thanks to our extensive network of partners, proactive communication, and of course, our proven process.

Even during a nationwide quarantine, the Corporate Concepts team completed this large-scale project from across the country – on time and on budget.

Here's how we got it done:

PLANNING THROUGH A SHUTDOWN

When the Corporate Concepts team hosted a leading global pharmaceutical research & development organization in March of 2020, they could have never suspected they'd soon be managing this project remotely through Zoom.

This organization was moving into San Francisco's BioMed Realty's Gateway of Pacific development and needed interior solutions for their new 480,000 sq ft space. Corporate Concepts built a comprehensive mockup for them to review in person, focusing on flexibility, storage capabilities, and ergonomic features.

Once Corporate Concepts was awarded the project, our team got to work finding the best way to manage this large-scale project in San Francisco from their computers in Chicago.

COHESIVE COMMUNICATION

The Corporate Concepts team had three people working on this project – Account Executive Frank d'Ambrosio, Project Manager Jen Soifer, and CAD Designer Emily West. Together, they orchestrated successful solutions while communicating with over 20 manufacturers and teams, including:

Despite the number of people involved, Corporate Concepts' project management expertise ensured a smooth process from start to finish.

THE RIGHT PIECES

Our global pharmaceutical research & development client was moving into a new, two-tower complex with 38 office areas, needing a total of 1,300 new workstations. With their goals of flexible and ergonomic workstations and versatile storage capabilities in mind, Corporate Concepts found the perfect pieces to build their ideal space.

First, we implemented a flexible technology spine from Knoll, the Antenna Power Beam. This allows worksurfaces to be independent of their power structure, providing additional flexibility and agility while minimizing desk footprints.

The Power Beam was paired with additional height-adjustable tables and monitor arms, along with low storage areas underneath the stations.

Corporate Concepts also worked with this organization’s design team to create a four-color palette for the storage area cushions, which provided a visual divide between clusters of workspaces.

BRINGING SPACES TO LIFE (REMOTELY)

Even from across the country, the Corporate Concepts team ensured a smooth installation process for our client.

Corporate Concepts' partner, AllModular Systems, Inc., worked as our eyes and ears on the ground in San Francisco as products were delivered and installed. By staying in constant communication with the AllModular team, Corporate Concepts was able to oversee the load-in process and ensure it was successful.

Through expert project management, proactive communication, and nationwide connections with reliable partners, Corporate Concepts was able to outfit our client’s new home with their ideal office solutions.

From coast to coast, our team is ready to find the perfect configuration for your office space. Contact us today to explore your options.
